Alley Art

Alley Art is where the original idea, at least as concerns Connie, for the Berwick Mural Project grew from.  After opening A Perfect Blend with her mother and sister-in-law in downtown Berwick in 2002, and spending a fair amount of time utilizing Euclid Alley, Connie wondered if it could be recreated into something inspiring and artistic.  As a main route of foot traffic through the town, Euclid Alley has the chance to fascinate and energize passersby on a daily basis.

Alley Art serves two basic purposes; taking an ugly wall and making it artistic and interesting, and getting the community directly involved with the Berwick Mural Project.  Through Alley Art, anyone can take part, either through submitting art ideas or taking someone else’s idea and painting it.  And of course, you can paint your own ideas as well if you’d like.

Alley Art gives the community a chance to get involved in something that will make Berwick a more interesting and original place to live.  Please contact Connie for more information about being part of Alley Art, and start thinking creatively!
